Learn More About PFLAG Lebanon/Warren County
PFLAG Lebanon/Warren County is a new chapter of the nation’s first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Located between Cincinnati and Dayton, we serve individuals and families throughout the region who are seeking connection, affirmation, and hope.
We started this chapter because we saw a real need in our community — one that becomes clearer with every person who reaches out. Many have shared that they’ve felt alone or unsure where to turn for support, in an area where open conversations about LGBTQ+ identities don’t always come easily. We are here to help change that.
At PFLAG Lebanon/Warren County, we provide a safe, welcoming space where LGBTQ+ people and their families can find understanding, compassion, and strength. Together, we’re working to create a caring, just, and affirming world — one where everyone can live as their true selves, surrounded by support and love.
Provide Support and Connection – PFLAG Lebanon/Warren County facilitates monthly in-person support groups. We will be planning social events and providing opportunities to connect with area groups and organizations.
Offer Education – Each month, as part of our support groups, we may provide a different education topic relevant to the time of year (back-to-school, coming out, etc.). We will also do periodic special programs like suicide prevention training, name change clinic, and others.
Advocate – PFLAG strives to partner with other local and National organizations to educate key decision-makers about the issues that affect our loved ones and families, and to teach others how to use their voices to amplify our efforts toward a more equitable, and just world for the LGBTQ+ community.
